Background:
    Dr. Li was born in 1938 . He received his M.D. from Sun Yat-Sen University of Medical Sciences (SUMS) in 1962.Thereafter he conducted clinical research studies on abdominal tumor, especially liver cancer. He was the first surgeon to explore irregular hepatoectomy in China. He have published about 50 research papers in national journals and 7 papers in international surgical journals. He is charged of the compilation of hepatobiliary oncology, which will be published as standard text book in altitude medicine academies in China.
