designated as the "WHO Collaborating Center for Research
on Cancer".
The head-quarter of Guangdong Provincial Anti-cancer
Association is set up here, leading the work of
cancer control in the province of Guangdong. The newspaper of
"Prevention of Cancer" originated firstly in
China to popularize the preventive knowledge of cancer is
edited and published here.
The editorial department of
"Chinese Journal of Cancer" is set up here. The
"Chinese Journal of Cancer" is one of the
national kernel academic journals and is published
monthly.
