 HISTORY
   Sun Yat-Sen University Cancer Center  was established  in 1964. It was one of the four early-founded  cancer centers in China and was a top national institute with four missions: patient care, scientific research, medical education and prevention. It served the  patients in GuangDong province, Hongkong, Macao and southeast Asian countries, playing a  leading role in  the field of cancer research and cancer control in these areas.    
    Lin Ke, medical doctor, E.S., the founder of  the Cancer Center, the president of the Sun Yat-sen Medical College, Guangzhou, P. R. China.
    Zhiguang Xie, the founder-member on clinical Radiotherapy in China, the first director of the Cancer Center.
